This Q&A panel will expose listeners to implementing new requirements of cost collection techniques, lessons learned throughout the process, and benefits from a cost estimating perspective. In 2016, the NSA implemented a new requirement of a standardized Contract Data Report (CDR) to be placed on all non-Firm Fixed Price contracts. The standardized report would solve consistency issues associated with previous vendor-specific reports. In addition, the CDR defined specific technical parameters to be reported that would directly benefit cost estimating efforts.
