During the pandemic, new patient flow for dental offices has dropped substantially. However, there are a handful of dental offices that are receiving a record number of new patients.

It’s important to understand why patient flow is dropping for most dental offices. When the pandemic hit, dental offices saw a dramatic decrease in revenue and a substantial increase in costs for the office. So what do they did is they cut their budget and expense as much as possible, which is a good thing, except that they also cut their marketing. Other businesses also cut their marketing costs, which means that on Facebook, Instagram, Google on the search engines, the competition dropped substantially. Now there are some dental offices who’ve maintained a marketing budget and also increased the marketing budget. And that’s how they’re able to attract all these new patients. There are also many dental offices, which are closed so all their patients are going online during this time looking for new dental offices.
