DBU Tech Talk - Skip Howard, CEO of Spacee

Skip is the founder/CEO of Spacee, Inc. Leaders in Spatial Augmented Reality. Spacee utilizes deviceless Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) through computer vision to create business solutions that transform your physical surroundings into an interactive, digital space.
Spacee's solutions address day-to-day business challenges that occur from product creation to point-of-sale in a variety of industries, including retail, food & beverage, supply chain, marketing, education, robotics, health care, and more.
Spacee’s first project turned a Mercedes C300 into a touch screen. Spacee is currently partnered with Intel, Dell and Panasonic and they are currently working with several fortune 100 companies, including Walmart and Coca-Cola Europe.

Spacee is Skip’s third startup. In 2014, he co-founded Cancer Gene Connect, the leaders in hereditary cancer risk assessments and, he was the co-founder of Pave Systems, a judicial software company for higher education right out of college. Prior to Spacee, Skip worked for Ross Perot’s real estate company, Hillwood. Skip also runs the largest computer vision developers group south of New York.

Skip has experience speaking on many different platforms. His prior speaking engagements for Spacee includes speaking at The Digital Fight Club 2018 about, “Smart Cameras Vs. Smart Images,” then he has also spoken at The General Merchandise Marketing Conference 2018 about “Simulated Reality.” Skip has also previously spoken at Big Design Conference about “UX Design Using Spatial Augmented Reality” in 2016.
Skip is regularly selected to speak internally with C-Level Executives and Innovators in many Fortune 500 Companies. Before Spacee, Skip has spoken at 1 Million Cups, NASPA Conferences, Higher Education Professionals Conference and UT Southwestern about “Hereditary Cancer Risk Assessments.”

Skip was also recently selected as a finalist by E.Y. - Entrepreneur of the Year - Southwest Division in 2019 and most recently in D Magazine's Dallas 500 for 2021 as one of the most powerful business leaders in Dallas Forth Worth".
