Hot off the press (or out of the mash tun) comes our next Alteryx training webinar, this time focused on connecting to an API to analyze brewery location data around the country.

What is an API, you ask? API stands for "Application Programming Interface", and is the primary means for connecting Alteryx to many cloud based data sources. Think about everything from Salesforce to Marketo, and how you normally utilize them through a web browser interface. With API access, we are able to build a workflow that connects directly to and reads the underlying data without the need to manually create an extract.

In this session we will cover the basics of connecting to an API with Open Brewery DB, a crowd sourced data set. We will discuss different authentication, or security methods, and finally build a workflow that creates a data set we can use for visualization. We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves, so save your spot and we'll see you there!
