Optimising postural and pressure management in mobile shower commodes

Welcome to a Cubro CoLabs webinar hosted by Cubro and Raz Design Inc.

The webinar will focus on seating and positioning in mobile shower commode chairs for toileting and showering. It will consider some unique challenges to achieving good seating position and pressure management when compared to seating in wheelchairs. The webinar will draw on published research evidence, clinical case studies, and practical examples.

• Identify limitations in mobile shower commode chair (MSCC) frame design that impact seating
• Identify characteristics of materials that impact MSCC seating
• Come away with strategies for pressure management in seating and how they can be used in MSCC seating
