In January, WWF and The Circulate Initiative simultaneously issued white papers on the topic of plastics credits which they describe as a “promising - but not yet proven – way companies can help fix a broken piece of the plastic value chain”. These landmark papers provide insights into best practices as well as the need to mitigate potential risks associated with credit trading systems. In this panel, you’ll get to hear from both organizations as well as from a global environmental commodity trader who has been following the development of GreenBlue’s version of plastic credits, known as Attributes of Recycled Content or simply ARCs.
