Jacob Thompson-Bell is a composer and creative producer, based in the United Kingdom. His eclectic output spans electronic music, concert works, installations, exhibitions and touring productions. Jacob frequently works in close collaboration with other musicians and artists, often playing on cross-modalities between music and other media. Previous collaborations include The Vegetable Orchestra (Vienna), London Sinfonietta, London Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra of Opera North, at venues including Kings Place London, the Purcell Room, LSO St Luke’s, Howard Assembly Rooms and BFI Southbank. Jacob holds a PhD in Music from the Royal Northern College of Music, and is a Principal Lecturer in Postgraduate Studies at Leeds College of Music, lecturing internationally for students and businesses around the UK, in China, Iceland and Europe.
