Prevention Specialist at The Center for Family Justice
Katelyn is CFJ's Prevention Specialist and works in the Community Education and Prevention Department. Both her academic background and professional experience have been focused on the impact of violence on marginalized communities, especially the LGBTQ community, and she has experience in curriculum and policy development, training, and technical assistance as well as direct service.

Katelyn is passionate in her belief that we each hold important influence and roles within our communities, which can all contribute to eradicating violence or maintaining its presence in our lives. With intention, accountability, and compassion, we can repair and imagine and build joyful and safe communities.

She was born and raised in Texas, and currently lives with her partner and two cats in Bridgeport.

Pam Paulmann, M.P.H. is the Coordinator of the Campus Grant provided by the Office on Violence Against Women in the U.S. Department of Justice. Pam has worked on multiple public health grants with the Dept. Of Counseling & Psychological Services at Fairfield University over the last decade.

Megan D. Monahan, J.D. is the Director of Title IX and Equity Compliance at Fairfield University. Megan is the designated Title IX Coordinator for the University and oversees the institutional response to sexual misconduct.

Assistant Professor, Counselor Education Graduate School of Education & Allied Professions at Fairfield University
Jocelyn Novella, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of counselor education in the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions at Fairfield University. She is an active member of the CCRT on campus. She previously worked for 24 years in college counseling and was a co-chair of the Connecticut College Consortium to End Sexual Violence (CCESV) from 2012-2015.

The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) provides free and confidential trauma-informed services and coordinates care for all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse in six towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull.

CFJ provides expert prevention education and training in our communities to create social change. Our goal is to break the cycle of violence by building healthy relationships, empowering communities, and mobilizing bystanders to speak out about abuse and violence.
