    Christine Giordano has been managing editor of ai-CIO.com (Chief Investment Officer’s digital news site) since 2016. The ai-CIO brand was honored with the prestigious Best Media Brand award in 2016, 2018, and 2019 in the Jesse H. Neal Awards.
    A career journalist, prior to joining the company, Giordano wrote in-depth news for daily newspapers and as a staff writer for The New York Times Company, winning the team NYT Chairman’s Award, the Florida Bar’s Grand Prize award, and various first place awards from the Society of Professional Journalists. She is a fellow of both the National Press Foundation and the American Institute for Economic Research.

    David Tatkow
    Portfolio Consultant at Albourne
    David Tatkow has worked as a portfolio consultant at Albourne since 2010, advising a mix of pension, endowment, foundation, and wealth adviser clients on all stages of portfolio construction across alternatives. Prior to joining Albourne, Tatkow worked at Core Capital Management, an investment management firm in Chicago specializing in alternative investment solutions for high-net-worth investors and family offices. In his role there as a hedge fund associate analyst, Tatkow conducted due diligence on prospective and recently initiated hedge fund investments. Prior to Core, Tatkow interned at Cantor Fitzgerald in debt capital markets. Prior to this, David worked in credit portfolio management at HVB Group, New York, the second largest private commercial German bank, where he established a risk management infrastructure to measure credit risk and loan loss reserve balances. Tatkow has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and an bachelor’s from Dartmouth College.     Taylor Mammen is chief executive officer of RCLCO Fund Advisors (RFA), which advises institutional investors on all aspects of their complex real estate investment portfolios, from strategy development to underwriting and asset management. In the past decade, Mammen and RFA have sourced, underwritten, and overseen investments on behalf of clients well in excess of $10 billion. Mammen leads the firm’s institutional investor client relationships and is responsible for the firm’s growth and development, in addition to serving on the boards of clients’ portfolio companies. Prior to RCLCO, Mammen worked for the Boston Redevelopment Authority and was director of research for a boutique government relations consulting firm. He received his master’s in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor’s in political science from Brigham Young University (BYU).     Managing Director, Head of Asian Private Equity, Growth Equity & Venture Capital at Aksia
    Heidi Poon is a managing director on the investment research team at Aksia and has more than 20 years of financial markets and investment research experience, including over 10 years primarily focused on the private markets. She is responsible for sourcing, conducting due diligence, and evaluating and monitoring funds in the venture capital and growth equity sectors, as well as private equity funds based in Asia. Prior to Aksia’s acquisition of TorreyCove Capital Partners, Poon was a senior vice president, joining the firm in 2013. Prior to that, Poon was an investment officer for San Jose Retirement Services’ Investment Group. She was primarily responsible for the hedge fund, fixed income, and private equity investment activities at the city’s two pension plans. Previously, Poon was an equity research analyst, covering the semiconductor industry for investment banks including Thomas Weisel Partners, Piper Jaffray, and Robertson Stephens. She serves as a board member of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM). Poon graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s in industrial engineering and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
