In several market verticals, restrictions are put on users, depending on their location. In online gaming for example, players cannot play if they are in a different jurisdiction. In financial services, evasion of sanctions can be bypassed with spoofing the IP Address in digital transactions. In content delivery: content (movies, music, etc..) is provided based on user location. Some fraudsters try to disguise their location to be able to access online gaming, to be able to collude in online card games or to get hold of content they should not get.
