Camelia Billard-Sandu is a Medical Oncologist and Head of Inpatient Unit of the Oncology-Radiotherapy Department at Gustave Roussy, France.

She received clinical and translational research fellowships from European School of Oncology and Trans Breast International Group / European CanCer Organization.

She holds a University Diploma in Clinical Oncology, a European University Diploma in Clinical Research in Oncology, an InterUniversity Diploma in Onco- Hematology for Elderly Patients and a University Diploma in Breast Pathology.

Camelia Billard-Sandu is a member of the Head and Neck Radiotherapy Oncology Group (GORTEC), the European Society of Medical Oncology and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology.

Involved in the development of supportive care for head and neck cancers , Camelia Billard-Sandu is part of several working groups on the management of side effects of radio-chemotherapy.

She is interested in the implementation of the photobiomodulation as an essential therapy in Oncology. Consequently, she created with Rene-Jean Bensadoun the first European University Diploma in Photobiomodulation in Supportive Care in Cancer.
