Marcelo Claure serves as Executive Chairman of WeWork, Chief Executive Officer of SoftBank Group International and Chief Operating Officer of SoftBank Group Corp.

As COO of SoftBank Group Corp., he oversees the company’s strategic direction and its portfolio of operating companies, including WeWork, SB Energy, Fortress, as well as SoftBank’s stake in T-Mobile U.S. He also spearheads the SoftBank Latin America organization, a $5 billion fund dedicated to investing in technology growth opportunities throughout the region, as well as the newly-launched SoftBank Opportunity Fund, a $100 million fund dedicated to investing in entrepreneurs of color. Marcelo is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Arm and Univision, and serves as Chairman of Fortress. He also runs Club Bolivar, Bolivia’s most successful soccer team, and serves as Chairman and Owner of Club Internacional de Futbol Miami (Miami Beckham United), one of the world’s newest major league soccer franchises.

Chief Communications Officer WeWork
Lauren Fritts currently serves as Chief Communications Officer for WeWork overseeing the corporate communications, internal communications, and public affairs functions globally. Over her three year tenure at WeWork, Lauren has been responsible for press and external relations as Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications for the U.S., Canada, and Israel. With over 15 years of experience in both the media and political landscapes, Lauren is an integral leader in shaping and telling the company's story while managing teams across WeWork's global portfolio to establish our brand in key local markets.

Prior to WeWork, Lauren worked for Governor Chris Christie in his official office as the Digital and Deputy Communications Director from 2011 to 2016, when she joined his Presidential campaign as his Digital Director. Prior to her political experience, Lauren worked as a producer on a top-rated cable news program at the Fox News Channel.

Chief Executive Officer, WeWork
Sandeep Mathrani is the Chief Executive Officer of WeWork, where he also serves as a member of the Board of Directors.

Prior to WeWork, Sandeep most recently served as CEO of Brookfield Properties Retail Group and as Vice Chairman, Brookfield Properties. Prior to that, he served as CEO of GGP Inc. for eight years, during which he oversaw the company’s strategic rebranding in 2017 to a retail real estate company, as well as the successful $9.25 billion acquisition of GGP by Brookfield Property Partners in 2018. Sandeep was also part of the group that successfully helped GGP recapitalize and avoid bankruptcy.

Prior to joining GGP in 2010, Sandeep was President of Retail for Vornado Realty Trust, where he oversaw the firm’s U.S. retail real estate division. Before that, he spent nearly a decade as Executive Vice President at Forest City Ratner.

Sandeep serves on the executive board and the board of trustees for the International Council of Shopping Centers, the executive board and 2019 chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, as well as on the board of directors for Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc and Dick’s Sporting Goods. He also serves on the Miami Herbert Business School Real Estate Advisory Board.

Sandeep holds a Master of Engineering, Master of Management Science and Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
