Dan Sumpter is a US Army MP Veteran and has previous work history in state corrections before retiring as a Detective from the Elyria Police Department in Ohio in 2019. Dan was a Digital Forensic Examiner and was certified from the Ohio Police Officers Academy as a Digital Evidence Recovery Specialist. Dan was an ICAC affiliate and still holds his police commission. Dan's formal education consists of 1yr Technical certificates in Digital Forensics and Police Science, Associate's Degree in Police Science, BS in Criminal Justice, and is currently completing his MS in Cyber Security. Dan has been employed at AccessData/Exterro for over 4yrs and is the Director of Training.
