June 11th 2025: Clinical Application of Convexity: Translating New Science into Practice

Global Innovation Summit Series (Accredited)

This episode focuses on Practical Implementation of Convexity in Clinical Ostomy Care

Overview
This comprehensive masterclass provides healthcare professionals with advanced knowledge and practical skills for implementing convexity in ostomy care. Through evidence-based presentations, interactive case studies, and hands-on demonstrations, participants will explore the scientific foundations and clinical applications of convex technology across diverse patient populations. This course features insights from a landmark multi-site, international, prospective product evaluation conducted across three countries, with over 1,600 patient evaluations.

Learning Objectives
By the completion of this masterclass, participants will be able to:

Critically analyze the scientific data on convex characteristics across 33 different soft convex products
Demonstrate advanced clinical assessment techniques to match specific patient presentations with appropriate convex solutions
Apply evidence-based strategies to improve ostomy-related outcomes using convexity technology
Develop personalized care plans integrating convexity for patients with complex stoma presentations
Evaluate and address common complications associated with convex appliance use
