Troy worked for Lockheed Martin as both software engineer and AMD Xilinx designer in the late 90’s, and spent the next 12 years as a AMD Xilinx dedicated embedded specialist FAE in distribution. He then took an FAE role at Microchip (formerly Actel) where he assisted engineers design in radiation tolerant and radiation hardened devices. Following these Hi REL roles, he worked a few years as an Intel-PSG embedded specialist FAE working on SoC reference designs.

After enjoying a few years as a professional AMD Xilinx technical trainer, he was hired into AMD Xilinx by the Central Products Group team as a Sr. Product Marketing Engineer responsible for planning, marketing and driving enhancements for AMD Xilinx’s embedded Linux strategies. Over the past 9 months he has since returned to the space market as the Space Systems Architect on the Aerospace and Defense marketing team defining, promoting and supporting all the AMD Xilinx space grade product lines.

Troy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
