He is also skilled in meta-analysis, a statistical method widely used in evidence based medicine. He is now a clinical associate professor in National Taiwan University. Francesca Gimigliano is the President Elect of ISPRM.
She is Associate Professor of Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, in Napoli, South of Italy where she chairs the Residency Program in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and the School of Speech and Language Therapy and is responsible for the Service of General and Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine.
She is also one of the founders of Cochrane Rehabilitation, Chair of the Communication Working area and editor of the Cochrane Rehabilitation ebook.
She is author of more than 100 peer reviewed papers and her main areas of interest are rehabilitation methodology, functioning and musculoskeletal disorders in the elderly.

Dr. Abena Tannor is an experienced and dedicated Rehabilitation and Family Physician specialist from Ghana with over eleven years of experience working at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Ghana and currently working with the World Health Organization’s Rehabilitation Programme. Her passion for rehabilitation led to the establishment of the first multidisciplinary Physical Rehabilitation Medicine service in Ghana which has improved the function, independence and quality of life of persons with disabilities. Dr. Tannor was also instrumental in the establishment of a PRM fellowship program in Ghana with support from the International Rehabilitation Forum. She is an active member of ISPRM and serves on the Cochrane Rehabilitation Advisory Board.
