Dr. Abena Tannor is an experienced and dedicated Rehabilitation and Family Physician specialist from Ghana with over eleven years of experience working at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Ghana and currently working with the World Health Organization’s Rehabilitation Programme. Her passion for rehabilitation led to the establishment of the first multidisciplinary Physical Rehabilitation Medicine service in Ghana which has improved the function, independence and quality of life of persons with disabilities. Dr. Tannor was also instrumental in the establishment of a PRM fellowship program in Ghana with support from the International Rehabilitation Forum. She is an active member of ISPRM and serves on the Cochrane Rehabilitation Advisory Board.
