Chris has worked for BT and Openreach since 2003, starting as an apprentice engineer.

After successfully completing his apprenticeship, Chris has worked in a variety of management roles across, HR and L&D, resourcing, operations and moved into fleet in 2016. Chris was shortlisted for Fleet News, fleet manager of the year in 2025, is a CPC qualified transport manager, chartered manager as recognised with the CMI and member of the AFP.

Having worked at several major organisations and led on several electric vehicle related projects including Optimise Prime, Lorna joined National Grid in August 2019 as Fleet Manager. Now Head of Fleet, she is invited to speak at many key events, she is deputy chair and board member of the Association of Fleet Professionals. She is also the winner of the Barbara Cox – Woman of the Year 2021, Greenfleet’s Outstanding Achievement award 2022 and the Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion in Fleet award at the Fleet News Awards 2022.
