This introductory follow-up course builds on the basic concepts presented in Part 1 and continues the discussion of fire inspection practices and responsibilities. Attendees will further explore common fire and life safety issues found during inspections, including means of egress, occupancy considerations, fire protection systems, hazardous conditions, and maintenance-related concerns.

The course is designed to help participants strengthen their understanding of how inspectors apply codes in the field, communicate findings, and promote safer buildings and operations. Ideal for those beginning their fire inspection journey, this session expands the foundational knowledge needed to understand the role and responsibilities of a fire inspector.
