About This Webinar

This webinar provides a practical, business-focused assessment of the operational viability and financial bankability of Small Waste Incineration Plants (SWIP, under 3 tonnes per hour) under the upcoming UK Emissions Trading Scheme.

The session will explore technical solutions for challenging, high-ash alternative fuels such as RDF and SRF, including Bianna technology and Turboden’s high-efficiency Organic Rankine Cycle turbines. It will also examine two commercial approaches: traditional project finance and the Bianna Rental Service model, which removes the need for upfront capital through a fixed monthly fee covering operation and maintenance.

Using a 15-year case study, the speakers will consider CAPEX pressures, carbon tax uncertainty, gate fee scenarios and the potential revenue benefits of behind-the-meter power consumption.
