    Phil Beckett
    Managing Director and Practice Leader of Alvarez & Marsal's Disputes and Investigations UK
    Phil Beckett is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, leading the Disputes and Investigations practice across Europe and the Middle East. With more than 20 years’ experience in forensic technology, he advises organisations on digital investigations, complex data analysis, information governance, cyber risk, and eDisclosure. He was named Who’s Who Legal’s Digital Forensic Expert of the Year in 2017 and 2018, and his team is ranked Band One in Chambers UK-wide eDiscovery.

    Phil has led high-profile, cross-border investigations involving fraud, bribery, IP theft, cartel matters, employment disputes, and regulatory reviews. His work frequently spans multiple jurisdictions, requiring careful navigation of data protection and privacy laws. He has acted as an IT Forensics Expert and provided written testimony.

    Previously, Phil was a Partner at Proven Legal Technologies and led Navigant’s European Forensic Technology Practice. He holds degrees in computing, forensic computing, and computer and communications law, is an ACCA Fellow and Certified Fraud Examiner, and regularly lectures on digital investigations and information governance.

    Frank Brennan
    Associate Director at PNG Cyber
    Frank Brennan is the Associate Director of Incident Response at PNG Cyber, which basically means when everyone else is running around yelling “We’ve been hacked!” he’s the guy they call to clean up the digital crime scene and talk them off the ledge.

    With over 23 years in cyber forensics and incident response, Frank has done time in federal and state law enforcement, survived seven years of private-sector mayhem, and somehow still enjoys his job. He specializes in ransomware, business email compromises, fraud, and any investigation where a threat actor thinks they’re clever; he loves proving them wrong.

    Frank has helped everyone from mom-and-pop shops to Fortune 500 giants, across industries that definitely should’ve known better. He’s also handled threat-actor negotiations, ransomware mitigation, and has testified in court more times than he planned when he chose a “computer job.”

    Basically, if there’s chaos, crypto, or criminals involved; Frank is your guy.
