The future of health is digital and connected. Valuable data and digital and physical interfaces push this forward. However, this endeavour has its challenges. This session will introduce our new Connected Health Kit and share insights on how it helps break down silos and bring domain experts together to co-create user-centric digital solutions to be embedded in real-life clinical workflows and medical environments.

After an intro to the Connected Health Kit our panel of health experts will shine a light on how the kit enabled them to make concepts tangible and to make complex processes simple.

Jaakko Nurkka
Co-founder Cliniserve
Jaakko Nurkka is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Cliniserve. Before founding Cliniserve, Jaakko received a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology and a MSc degree in Management & Technology from Technical University of Munich. He has also studied at the University of California Berkeley, worked for technology companies like AWS and published a paper on the transformation to the SaaS business model in the Harvard Business Review.

Gianni Cardone
Design Director, Futurice
Gianni is a passionate designer with a strategic mindset. He is Design Director at Futurice and has years of experience in consulting clients, creating service strategies, and bringing them to reality by creating digital products.

He has a strong focus on leading innovation projects and initiatives, supporting the creative process with new design methods, and exploring new service opportunities in emerging sectors (ecosystems creation, digital health, urban mobility). Gianni has been working for major international clients and in different industries, such as healthcare, automotive, financial, and energy fields.

Dr. Thomas Rudolf
Executive Board Member, Oberender AG
As a member of the Executive Board of Oberender AG, Dr. Thomas Rudolf is responsible for the areas of strategy consulting and M&A as well as digital health and start-up consulting. Additionally, he advances the topic of Digital Health as a lecturer for data analytics and performance planning at hospitals at Hochschule Rosenheim and OTH Amberg-Weiden and as a start-up mentor at InsureTech Hub Munich. Prior to this, he gained many years of experience in the field of healthcare as Head of Corporate Development at Sana Kliniken AG.

Sven Anwar-Bibi
Moderator and Host, Futurice
Sven has a history in strategy and innovation consulting in the context of analog and digital products and services. During the past 5 years he established the Connected Living Venture within PwC IXDS GmbH together with a team of great designers, innovators and researchers. He lead projects and managed relationships with nationally and internationally operating companies (BSH, BOSCH, Vorwerk, SPIE), consulting in the context of digital transformation.

Since 2002 he has been involved in teaching and academic research and gained experience in the DACH region and abroad, (lectureships, seminars, workshops). At PwC IXDS he lead a consortium of 3 SMEs and 2 Universities for the research project ProFI, funded by BMBF/DLR.
