If life has gone belly up and everything seems to be falling apart all at once, join me live for this free live webinar.

Are you currently overwhelmed by health challenges, financial stress, housing uncertainty, legal disputes, relationship strain, possibly all at the same time?

If you’ve said “yes” to one, or all of the above, you are not alone.
There’s a deep question that can come from that. It’s not just a confidence issue where things seem to have stalled or be imploding. It’s also about whether you or your skills are still useful.

The ‘school of hard knocks’ can also become intertwined with our identity and the way we see ourselves; if something has failed, not worked, gone wrong, you’ve gone into hibernation, or dropped the ball, etc, does that mean that you are a failure? It can most certainly start to ‘seem’ that way when you’re in the eye of the storm.

Having had this conversation more times than I care to count over the past 6 years, I am developing something new. It’s just a ‘workshop’ or a typical ‘session’ per se. It’s more blueprint and a practical and energetic support system.

This free live webinar will show you practical, step-by-step strategies to stop the chaos, stabilise your situation, and start rebuilding your self-belief and life.

    What is this?

It’s not a workshop or a class or your traditional type webinar, it’s more a think tank and life lab.

The overall purpose is to help you regain agency if you feel you have lost control or are sinking under the weight of the compounding pressures.

    Its Anonymous

You can choose to sign in using a nickname and submit your live questions or comments privately and/or anonymously because I recognise it’s not the easiest place to be, particularly if you yourself are a leader, or you’re in the personal development field where there’s oftentimes the mistaken perception that you should have “everything” sorted out.

    Overwhelm & Overload

Akin to the movie Everything Happening Everywhere featuring an exhausted mother, this webinar is to address the situation I’m hearing people talking about and experiencing, where it feels as though everything is almost happening all at once, or when they resolve one crisis, something else pops up, like a real-life version of Whack-a-Mole.

And these haven’t been small events, it’s included health challenges, financial struggles, work and career difficulties, property repair issues, doing battle with monolith organisations, facing the realities of economic collapse, the cost of living, relationship or marriage problems, legal issues, or a spiritual or religious crisis of confidence, potentially compounded as you watch your world as you know it implode.

If you are supporting someone through this, you recognise this yourself, or you want to strategise and get ahead of the curve, join us.

And if things have gone “wrong”, more than once in a big way, it can also erode and sap away your confidence and leave you steeped in fear, or uncertainty, so there’s a vital conversation and reset to be had there too.

And you might be one of the lucky ones, where you’re only dealing with one of these issues. Depending upon how you regulate your nervous system, it could still feel like the end of the world or as though you’re on the edge and couldn’t cope with anything else.
Whichever category you’re in, take the first step toward stabilising your life today and sign up and join us for this free live workshop.

This session is to walkthrough the framework and share and test out some of the processes, strategies, mindset pieces, and practical action plans.

    Lived Experience

Resilience for some is just a word. The dictionary definition is:

'Resilience the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties, adapt to adversity, or spring back into shape after being stretched or deformed. Derived from the Latin word resilire (meaning to "leap back"), it spans multiple fields from psychology to physics.' Merriam-Webster (Dictionary)

I started living from age 7 when I was sexually abused and told no one, handling the 10-years of regular abuse all by myself.

Next up was in my 20s having an arrogant doctor rob me of the things we take for granted and that help to define who we are; my thyroid gland, my hair, my clear skin, a functioning body, my nails, my slim frame (I ballooned from a natural size 8 to a size 16), and my brain (I was then diagnosed with what was thought to be early onset Alzheimer’s). I worked and clawed my way back to bounce back from that too.

That childhood self-doubt and self-loathing eroded my confidence. When I graduated from university, despite good grades, and 5 years of solid work experience under my belt, I didn’t have the confidence to go for a graduate job, so I settled for being a secretary instead despite having a business degree and a post graduate marketing diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. There’s nothing wrong with being a secretary; I still use those skills to this day (I’ve touch typed this whole memory thread), it’s just that is not what I truly wanted to do. I didn’t have the confidence to pursue to careers I really wanted to explore.

Then there was flying abroad to surprise my then boyfriend for his birthday. Let’s just say I’m the one who got the “surprise!” I can’t begin to tell you the heartbreak of that one, compounded by the affair he’d had years earlier and convinced me would “never happen again.” I don’t know about you, but I didn’t lump all the blame and rage onto him. I turned it on me, and the I, particularly with all the health challenges that were going on at the time, further convinced myself that I wasn’t good enough.

Then, after picking myself up finally having the courage to do something that was well outside of my comfort zone and filled me with joy, I was blindsided by the recession.

I remember the day. I was running a corporate workshop and someone from L&D appeared at the door and motioned for me to step outside. I set the class an exercise and walked outside. The council offer told me they wanted to tell me in person rather than by email. They had just received notice of central government budget cuts. First on the list was the leadership development training program. What was a 2-year program was reduced to “you have until the next month” within minutes. That was it. Pipeline gone. No work, and everyone I had worked with and for since 2003 were all in the same boat and there was no immediate life raft.

I feel like I’ve had a lifetime’s worth of challenges in every area of life you could imagine.

    Why This? Why Now?

The past 6 years have brought another fresh set of challenges where a triple strength dose of resilience and bounce back has been required, and everything really often felt like it was happening all at once, with politics, the economy, war, and government thrown into the mix.

Some have been blissfully oblivious to it all and have emerged unscathed. Others have been impacted by one, or many of the aforementioned factors.

What I want to do during this webinar is to first get clarity on where people are at because from that point we can then start to design, implement, and action solutions.

I’ve got things that I’ve been doing since I was 7 years old to help maintain a sense of sanity, plus techniques, strategies, and processes I’ve both learnt and developed over the past 25.5 years that I’ve been a Coach, Therapist, and the 23 years I’ve been an Executive Coach, Corporate Trainer, and Management Consultant.

If you are free this for this live event, join me for the exploratory conversation where I’ll start to share some of those processes and put them into practice both live, and following the call.

We will also explore a practical framework for regaining clarity, control and momentum when life hits or seems to implode from every direction.
