WEBINAR DETAILS
  • About
Wrapping up day 2 and the conference itself is Dr Peter Buzzi, Director of the Centre for Safeguarding and Digital Practice and Research, who is going to explore the world of digital safeguarding.

Dr Buzzi will look at the impact of social media and digital technologies on trust and relationships and children's social identities. He will explore the role of social media and digital technologies in social hierarchies and why these digital technologies have become integral to young people's identity and relationships. Finally he will discuss digital technologies as a "distorted" mirror of reality and its impact and implications for young people's mental health and well-being.
