About This Webinar

As online platforms continue to be exploited by organised crime groups and individuals involved in sexual exploitation and abuse, investigators and border professionals face increasing pressure to identify risk quickly, accurately, and lawfully. Project Turnstone responds to this challenge and by working with key partners has equipped frontline practitioners with innovative, intelligence-led tools designed to enhance online investigations and strengthen safeguarding at the border.

This webinar will introduce Traffic Jam and the Sexual Identification Matrix, two practical methodologies developed to support the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of individuals of concern encountered online and during border interactions. Through real-world context and applied examples, delegates will explore how these tools can be used to structure intelligence, recognise behavioural indicators, and support defensible decision-making.

Delegates will learn:
• How Project Turnstone enhances online investigative capability and supports safeguarding outcomes at the border
• The purpose and practical application of Traffic Jam in organising and assessing online intelligence
• How the Sexual Identification Matrix supports structured risk identification and escalation
• How to integrate these tools into existing investigative, safeguarding, and referral processes

By the end of the webinar, participants will take away:
• A clearer understanding of emerging online risks relevant to border and safeguarding environments
• Practical frameworks that can be immediately applied to live investigations and encounters
• Increased confidence in identifying indicators of sexual risk and vulnerability
• Enhanced awareness of how intelligence-led approaches support prevention, disruption, and protection

This webinar is essential for professionals involved in online investigations, safeguarding, intelligence development, and border security who are seeking practical tools to strengthen their response to evolving threats.
