Adam Rozencwajg is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Goehring & Rozencwajg, a firm focused on research-driven investment strategies in the natural resources sector. With approximately 20 years of investment management experience in the natural resources sector, Mr. Rozencwajg specializes in fundamental research and analysis of long-term trends across commodity markets, with a focus on supply, demand, valuation, and long-term market cycles. Together with Co-Founder Leigh Goehring, he authors the firm’s quarterly commentary on natural resources markets.
Mr. Rozencwajg’s research and investment experience spans a broad range of commodities, including oil, natural gas, uranium, precious metals, base metals, and agriculture. His investment approach incorporates fundamental analysis and a deep-value perspective, with an emphasis on identifying long-term changes in commodity markets and valuations. He also incorporates quantitative and technological tools into the firm’s research process, including proprietary neural-network and artificial-intelligence models used to analyze recoverable oil and natural gas resources and other commodity-market data.
Mr. Rozencwajg is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been featured in financial publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and the Financial Times. Before co-founding Goehring & Rozencwajg, he served as Vice President at Chilton Investment Company, where he worked with Leigh Goehring in managing the Chilton Global Natural Resource Fund from 2007 to 2015. During that period, the Fund reached peak assets under management of more than $5 billion.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Rozencwajg worked in the Investment Banking division of Lehman Brothers from 2006 to 2007.
Mr. Rozencwajg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia University.
