Auto and Property Fire Investigations - Through the Eyes of the Insurance Company's Fire Investigator

Mr. Horton is the field supervisor for the South Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Company’s Special Investigations Unit where he’s been employed for the past 22 years. Mr. Horton specializes in the area of fire origin and cause investigations and has 32 years of experience in the fire investigation field, both as a public and private sector fire investigator. Mr. Horton holds designations as an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator and a NAFI Certified Fire and Explosions Investigator. Mr. Horton currently serves as a 11 year, voting principle of the NFPA Technical Committee on Fire Investigations for NFPA 921 – Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations.
