So, snuggle up on Sunday, Feb. 7, and get ready for hours of major cuteness.The Buffalo Bills might not be in the Super Bowl this weekend, but one lucky pup from Central New York has been drafted onto Team Fluff into this year’s Puppy Bowl which was filmed in Upstate New York this year.

Puppy Bowl’s four-legged face off between Team Ruff and Team Fluff features shelter dogs from around the country trying to score touchdowns with different toys scattered all over a mini-Super Bowl stadium. Typically filmed in Manhattan, GlensFalls.com reports that this year’s Puppy Bowl was relocated to tape at the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls to accommodate social distancing requirements.

According to USA Today, the result was an even bigger Puppy Bowl field to play on for the dozens of puppies to play on.“We’re finally shooting in a real sporting venue, even though we are technically a fake sporting event,” longtime “ruffaree” Dan Schachner told USA Today. “The scale of it is immense – it looks like a completely different show. It’s a supersized version of ‘Puppy Bowl,’ even though we have fewer dogs.”

As Schachner said, this year’s event has less dogs and only one toy on the field instead of 20. The regularly tested and masked staff was also kept to a minimum.
