About
The UK government has published its Anti‑Corruption Strategy 2025–2030, building on the Economic Crime Plan and the upcoming expanded Fraud Strategy. The strategy signals increased focus on sectors beyond traditional financial services, including charities, cultural institutions, local government and football. It encourages organisations in these areas to strengthen their resilience to corruption and illicit finance risks.

In this webinar, we’ll provide an overview of the strategy’s key points, why these sectors have been highlighted and what this shift means in practice. You’ll hear from people across the newly spotlighted sectors on how they are interpreting the strategy, what challenges it is surfacing and where organisations are starting from if anti‑bribery and corruption controls have not historically been a priority. We’ll close with practical guidance on what organisations should realistically be planning for now, including what proportionate readiness looks like, how expectations typically evolve from strategy to regulation and how to respond with confidence as scrutiny increases.
