Leveraging HR KPIs for Strategic Success in 2024

HR-gathered metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) can provide valuable insight to an organization on its operations and performance. But tracking KPIs isn’t enough; HR leaders have to act on the metrics that matter most. KPIs need to be aligned with strategic business goals to provide the greatest impact and show the value added by HR in meeting critical success factors and long-term business goals.

“It is not the best use of time or resources to track certain metrics just for the sake of tracking them or because you see other organizations doing the same,” according to our presenter Lindsey Garito, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council and recipient of the 2023 Susan R.
