Nicole Robinson
Chief Strategy Officer, Comtech
Nicole Robinson, Chief Strategy Officer, is a proven executive leader with experience building and deploying high growth organizations in the satellite communications network space with deep understanding of the multi-orbit, multi-frequency constellations launched and launching. Prior to joining Comtech, Ms. Robinson was the President of Ursa Space Systems, Inc. (“Ursa Space”) a leading satellite intelligence and data analytics provider that leverages a global virtual constellation of over 200 SAR, earth observation, and RF satellites. In her role at Ursa Space, Ms. Robinson was responsible for accelerating the company’s growth globally while optimizing operations. Prior to joining Ursa Space, Ms. Robinson held a variety of leadership roles, including nearly 14 years at SES S.A. (“SES”) (LuxSE: SESG),, most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Government. Through her leadership roles at SES, Ms. Robinson was responsible for the company’s global business portfolio of government customers in the areas of defense, security, humanitarian, federal, civilian and institutional organizations. In addition to serving on its board of directors, Ms. Robinson was also Managing Director and CEO of SES Techcom Services, Inc., a subsidiary of SES that develops and delivers innovative and tailored end-to-end satellite-enabled solutions and services to governmental, institutional and supranational partners and customers. Prior to joining SES, while at General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD), Ms. Robinson served as the leader of the Strategic Communications function for the United States Joint Forces Command’s Standing Joint Force Headquarters (SJFHQ). Ms. Robinson has also served in a variety of board level positions. She is currently a Director of AAC Clyde Space AB, a Swedish company that specializes in small satellite technologies and services that enable businesses, governments, and educational organizations to access high-quality, timely data from space. Until June of 2022, Ms. Robinson served as the President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Society of Satellite Professionals International (“SSPI”), the largest professional organization in the space and satellite community. In this role, Ms. Robinson founded SSPI-Women in Space Engagement (WISE), a group dedicated to supporting women members of the space and satellite industry. Ms. Robinson previously served as Chair of the Board of Redu Space Services Inc., a company focused on the operation and delivery of advanced satellite communication systems. Ms. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science from Radford University, for whom she also served as the 2022 Commencement Speaker, an M.B.A. from Liberty University and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Senior Executives in National and International Security.

Tina Ghataore
Chief Commercial Officer of Mynaric and President Mynaric USA
Tina Ghataore serves as the Chief Commercial Officer of Mynaric and as the President of the company’s subsidiary, Mynaric USA. In this dual role, she leads the efforts to position Mynaric as the preferred laser communication provider for aerospace applications for both government and commercial markets. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace/aviation and telecom industries.

In 2022, Tina's contribution to the aerospace industry was recognized by both the public and industry peers alike when she was voted Via Satellite's "Satellite Executive of the Year", accepting her award in front of a select audience at the industry's leading annual conference 'Satellite 2022'.

Prior to joining Mynaric, she was the Executive Vice President of Inflight Connectivity Solutions at Yahsat, a leading UAE Satellite Operator, where she was responsible for the overall strategy and execution of enabling the organization to launch into the Mobility Satcom Services business. In 2007, she founded The EKKAM Group, a strategic management consulting firm focused on serving clients in the aerospace/aviation and telecom industries. Key clients included Airbus, Panasonic and Thales.

Tina held multiple leadership roles at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, where she was instrumental in efforts to launch the Panasonics Global Communications Services business, currently serving over 80+ airlines globally. She was also charged to establish the strategy and grow the software, applications and media business, serving the In-Flight Entertainment and Communications industry.

Tina began her career at The Boeing Company’s Satellite Systems business unit. She was integral to the building and launch of Connexion by Boeing (CBB) business, the first-of-its-kind true broadband communications services for commercial airlines. As part of the business development organization, she participated in the early pursuits of the Teledesic (LEO) and Ellipso (MEO) satellite programs. She was also a key member of the due diligence team efforts, resulting in the acquisition of Hughes Space and Communications.

Tina received her Bachelor of Honors Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University in the U.K. She is also a graduate of the International Space University.

Amy Mehlman
Vice President, Global Affairs and Stakeholder Relations, E-Space
Amy Mehlman is vice president, Global Affairs and Stakeholder Relations at E-Space. She is responsible for leading collaboration with international and domestic governments, partners and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to secure market access and establish international policies around space sustainability.

Before joining E-Space, Amy was vice president of U.S. Government Affairs and Policy at Viasat, where she led domestic and international policy work related to satellite licensing, space safety and spectrum equality. During this time Amy was a U.S. government-appointed delegate to the 2019 World Radiocommunication Conference. Prior, she was President of the successful boutique telecommunications public policy firm, Mehlman Capitol Strategies. She was also at the Washington, D.C. law firm Wiley, Rein & Fielding where she helped leading wireless, satellite, telecom equipment and broadcast companies shape and implement the provisions of the historic United States’ Telecommunications Act of 1996.

Rachel Jacobs
Mission Advocate, Aerospace & Satellite Solutions Team, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Rachel Jacobs, a salesperson in the Aerospace and Satellite Solutions (A&S) division of Amazon Web Services (AWS), leverages her engineering degree and seventeen years of experience in operations technology (OT) and information technology (IT) to help rocket launch and geospatial analytics companies leverage the scalability and unlimited compute capacity of the cloud to solve some of the world’s toughest challenges. Prior to joining AWS, Rachel improved manufacturing in various roles at Rockwell Automation in the mining, forestry, consumer package goods, and pharmaceutical industries. Rachel received her Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Janie Robinson
President, Descartes Labs Government
Janie Robinson is a distinguished leader in the government sector, currently serving as the President of Descartes Labs Government, Inc. (DLG), a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to serving government organizations. With over 20 years of work experience in various government and commercial roles, she has established herself as a seasoned strategist, technologist, and leader. Janie's extensive technical domain expertise lies in engineering, signals intelligence (SIGINT), satellite and wireless communications, and data analytics. This expertise serves as a strong foundation for her current leadership position, where she oversees the development and execution of the DLG’s business vision, mission, technology roadmap, and goals for serving the United States Government, Five Eyes, and Allied Partner organizations.

Before joining DLG, Janie held multiple roles with increasing responsibility in the Space, Cloud, and Telecommunications sectors where she honed her general management versatility by serving in business development, program management, and technology development areas. Her career began as an Electrical Engineer with the National Security Agency (NSA), where she sharpened her technical skills and gained invaluable experience. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Janie is actively involved in executive leadership organizations for women. She is a founding member of Chief's DC Chapter and actively supports Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) organizations like the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Furthermore, she volunteers her time with the United Services Organization (USO), where she provides assistance to active and retired military personnel and their families.

Janie's commitment to continuous growth and development led her to complete the Executive Leadership Development program at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. In 2016, she was recognized by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) as a recipient of the Culper Ring Award, a National Intelligence Community Citation, and a National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation. She holds both a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, respectively.
