Neal Costello

Neal is a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, one of the world’s largest global alternative asset managers. Neal’s focus is private equity secondary investing via Carlyle’s AlpInvest Partners platform. Currently based in the Netherlands, Neal focuses on European transactions and is a member of AlpInvest’s global Investment Committee. Neal has been with Carlyle/AlpInvest for over 15 years across various locations: New York, Hong
Kong and Amsterdam. He also spent time at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, both in Canada (Toronto) and the United Kingdom (London). He received his MBA from Columbia University and his undergraduate degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University in Canada. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Matt Jones

Partner @ Pantheon

Matt is Co-Head of Pantheon’s Global Secondaries Team and leads Pantheon’s secondaries presence in Europe. He is a member of the Global Secondary Investment Committee and the International Investment Committee. Matt focuses on secondary deal origination, analysis, structuring, execution and management of investments. He also participates in fund monitoring, firm marketing and client reporting.

David Swanson

Principal @ Unigestion

David Swanson is a Principal within the Private Equity team and leads Unigestion’s North American secondary presence. He joined Unigestion in July 2012. David began his career in 2005 in the Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice at FTI Consulting, Inc., advising clients through turnaround or restructuring situations. David holds a BS degree in Finance from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, USA where he graduated with honours. He is a CFA charterholder. He also holds a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor Accreditation.
