"We are only at the beginning of the mobile payment era", said B. Jonquois, administrator of Mobile Marketing Association France. And yet, in 2018 more than a third of internet users worldwide had used a mobile payment service in the last month.

With an incentive to appeal not only to Chinese tourists but others worldwide, the merchant network that accepts payments via QR code, NFC technologies, and electronic wallets is expanding. Digital technology has brought about one of the fastest transformations in society and COVID-19 has accelerated this trend. Ongoing shifts toward e-commerce, digital payments (including contactless), instant payments, and cash displacement have all been significantly boosted in the past year. While the impact of the digital revolution goes far beyond the sphere of internet commerce, it has not been consistent across sectors and countries.

CEO and co-founder of Limonetik
Graduated of the University of San Diego, California, in 1998 with a Master Business and International Relations, Christophe plunged into entrepreneurship by the end of his studies. Before Limonetik he created in turn: 1999 - PlastiSynergy, a marketplace dedicated to Plastic Surgeons, 2001 - Cre@TV, the first Web TV dedicated to business creation and 2005, Onside, a phone marketing company.

Alongside these entrepreneurial experience, he conducts consulting assignments for companies in strong development within the Cap Gemini Group for 5 years. Then, in 2007, he co-founded Limonetik with 4 French entrepreneurs with the aim of simplifying the online payments.

Angelo Caci
Managing Director at Syrtals cards
Graduated from ICN and ESSEC schools, Angelo started his career in 1984 at Sligos, then the leading payment services provider, as a sales executive in charge of business development in Southern European countries.

He then worked in other areas (HR consulting ; e-business at Atos) in France and abroad (country manager, BU director, international director…) before returning to payments in 2004 at the creation of Worldline within Atos (for 16 years). Since 2008, Angela has been managing consulting firms such as Syrtal cards focused on cards and innovative payments.
