A talk by David Rankine. During these unprecedented times, educators have courageously adapted to the new reality of online teaching and learning and social distancing limitations. As more research and evidence continues to guide policymakers and administrators on how best to transition back to some form of classroom instruction, we music educators will most certainly have to adapt our instruction in some form.
This webinar will explore a variety of new teaching and learning models that will still develop children’s music literacy, but adapt the techniques and activities explored in Part 1 & 2 to account for social distancing, the use of masks or other protective equipment, restrictions on
singing and movement, folk dancing without partners, using green screen technology, and online learning and assessment.
