Leon Telis
NYC Urologic specialist in Men's Sexual Health
Dr Telis is the Director of the Men’s Health Program at Mount Sinai Hospital and assistant professor of urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to general urology, he specializes in male reproductive and sexual medicine, including the medical and surgical management of erectile dysfunction, male infertility, Peyronie’s disease, and low testosterone. He received advanced training in microsurgical techniques including varicocelectomy, testicular sperm extraction and vasectomy reversal, as well as inflatable penile prosthesis placement, medical and surgical management of Peyronie’s Disease, and complex prosthetic revision surgeries. His expertise extends to the management of general urological conditions including enlarged prostate (BPH), kidney stones and urinary dysfunction.

Dr Telis received his medical degree from New York Medical College and went on to complete his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Lenox Hill Hospital – Northwell Health in New York. He then went on to complete a fellowship in male reproductive and sexual medicine and prosthetic urology at Columbia University – Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is co-author on multiple studies involving male sexual dysfunction, prosthetic urology and male infertility and has published book chapters on fertility preservation in the transgender population. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and has presented research at multiple national medical conferences. Above all, he is a caring physician, providing attentive and compassionate care to each patient he encounters.
