Doris oversees M&T Bank’s wealth management business, including Wilmington Trust Wealth Advisory Services, Wilmington Advisors@M&T, and Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors. She is Chairman and CEO of Wilmington Trust Corp. and of Wilmington Trust, N.A. She also serves as a member of M&T’s Executive Leadership Team and is a named executive officer.
Doris has four decades of financial and executive management experience. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2016, she served as co-head of U.S. Markets for BNY Mellon Wealth Management; was managing director of the New York office of Bernstein Global Wealth Management; and founded and headed the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch.
Doris holds a master’s degree in finance and marketing from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College. She is also on the board of the Museum of the City of New York and is a member of two preeminent women’s organizations: the Committee of 200, where she is the former chair of the Northeast Region; and The Women’s Forum of New York, where she served as president.
