Healthcare consistently ranks as one of the top concerns for clients nearing retirement. Join Carolyn McClanahan, M.D., CFP®, where she will present a detailed checklist to help advisors guide clients through key healthcare and insurance decisions before retirement, at the point of transition, throughout retirement, and into end-of-life planning. In this session, Dr. McClanahan will equip advisors with a structured framework to anticipate potential gaps, manage costs, and ensure clients are fully prepared for each stage of the retirement journey.
In this webinar, advisors will learn how to:
- Anticipate and plan for healthcare costs throughout retirement.
- Initiate and guide productive aging-plan discussions with clients.
- Support clients transitioning from workplace health coverage to Medicare or ACA options.
- Address ongoing expenses for dental, vision, and hearing care, including Medicare review strategies.
- Facilitate quality-of-life and end-of-life planning conversations with empathy and clarity.
