Air Travel in the Post COVID World

About This Webinar

As the world continues to struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic, probably the most drastically affected sector is the aviation travel business, with airlines and airports struggling to survive in the face of a massive downturn in international travel.
But, it is also true that in the post COVID world, the aviation travel business will be vital to the global economic recovery, whilst at the same time remaining in the frontline of controlling the spread of any future pandemic.

So, how do you square that circle? How do you facilitate travel upholding the necessary high level of security and safety whilst protecting the global community against the spread of deadly pathogens?

This webinar will discuss:
- As the world’s airports and airlines look to the future, what is the primary challenges facing the airport community and its actors in the post COVID environment?
- What protocols should be put in place and who should be establishing those protocols?
- What requirements will be placed on the various actors in that process, during the establishment phase as well as over the time. And to what extent are airports dependant on decisions from external actors such as authorities or global organizations?

How has the COVID experience affected the way the air travel sector interacts with other bodies and agencies within the airport, as well as with external authorities and organizations?
Could technology assist airports dealing with this new environment?
