Jim McGrody

He started the Black Hat Chef program and has won the IFMA 2018 Silver Plate Award.

Michael McCormick, Operations Director, is a power user of Computrition and responsible for managing the grocery center warehouse, facilities & security teams, and operational expenses at Project Open Hand. Founded in 1985, POH is a non-profit organization that provides medically tailored meals, groceries, and nutritional interventions for sick and vulnerable communities in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Nazim Khan

Chef Nazim Khan is an award-winning Professional Executive Chef, CEC, WCEC. Nazim began his career as a sushi chef in 1997. He has worked at the New York Marriott Marquis, Long Island Marriott and even as senior sous chef at the New York Battery Park Ritz Carlton, as well as an educator Virginia Western Community College, and executive chef senior for Virginia Tech.  Today he serves as executive chef for Bryan Medical Center. In 2016, Nazim was named one of the United Fresh Produce Excellence in Foodservice award winners.

Ana Ayala
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS, PROJECT OPEN HAND
Ana Ayala held various roles in programming and fundraising at different non-profits in the San Francisco area. Ana joined the team at Project Open Hand in 2017 and has since helped implement various projects providing medically tailored meals at the state and local level with health plans, clinics and government entities. Prior to this Ayala oversaw housing services at Catholic Charities for nearly a decade for families, older adults and adults with disabilities. She received her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
