Dr. Elias Farran
Urologist
Dr. Elias J. Farran is a dedicated physician completing his Urology Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (2020–2025). He earned his Doctor of Medicine from UTMB in 2020 and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2016. Throughout his career, Dr. Farran has distinguished himself with numerous honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Thayer Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the Herman A. Barnett Memorial Award. His academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national conferences, with research spanning urologic oncology, reconstructive surgery, and nephrolithiasis. In addition to his clinical and research pursuits, he has held leadership roles such as President of the Urological Student Association and is an active member of professional organizations including the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association.
