Local NJU Urologist who specializes in treating ED

Dr. Stuart Shoengold-has been practicing urology since 1981. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Shoengold is a clinical assistant professor of urology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and the chairman of the division of urology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He is also the director of urology education at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
He is Director of the Center for Female and Male Sexual Medicine. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of International Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and is one of only 40 ISSWSH fellows in the United States.

Local NJU Urologist who specializes in treating ED

Dr. Alan Strumeyer has been practicing in Essex County since 1990 and serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Department of Urology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He also currently serves as a board member of NJU. He has also held other leadership positions, including Section Chief of Urology at St. Barnabas Medical Center.

Local NJU Urologist who specializes in treating ED

Dr. Karl Coutinho completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Urology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. His military experience compelled him to complete a fellowship in genitourinary trauma and reconstruction at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and University Hospitals in Cleveland. Dr. Coutinho received additional training in genitourinary prosthetics and reconstruction through courses at Perito Urology in Miami, and as a visiting fellow at the Kulkarni Endosurgery Institute in Pune, India.
Dr. Coutinho has served continuously in the military since 2003, first as an Infantry officer and now a qualified flight surgeon. He is currently a Major and serves as the State Flight Surgeon for the New Jersey Army National Guard.
