    Prof H.B. Raghavendra
    Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Civil & Environmental Engineering
    Prof. H B Raghavendra, is currently serving as Vice Chancellor of The NorthCap University Gurugram, Haryana. Earlier he has served at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat for two terms as Director and i/c Director-General. His academic record is excellent having distinction throughout and degrees from IITM and IISc. He is having 37 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Governance. Prof. H B Raghavendra started his career in 1983 and served in various capacities such as Lecturer, Asst. Professor, Professor, Head and i/c Principal, Director School of Technology, I/c Director-General and Vice-Chancellor till date and contributed substantially in the establishment of Procedures at PDPU and served as first Director of School of Technology offering various B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D courses in Engineering disciplines. He is an active consultant in civil engineering and served as a member of several expert committees set up by governmental agencies. He is active in reforming higher education and introduced several activity-based modules and student portfolio system. Currently, he is working on deliverables to promote all-round development and comprehensive outcomes in teaching pedagogy to complement interest of students enabling growth.

    Dr. Kavita Khanna
    HOD (CSE)
    Dr Kavita Khanna has 19 years of teaching, administration and research experience. Currently she is an Associate Professor with The NorthCap University. She has done her PhD from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, New Delhi. She has to her credit more than 60 publications in reputed journals and conferences including Elsevier, Springer and Taylor & Francis. She has guided 21 M.Tech students in their research work. Her research areas include artificial neural networks, digital image processing, computer graphics and design and analysis of algorithms. She is a versatile person. Apart from teaching and research she has pursued her interest in music and people by working as a Radio Jockey with All India Radio FM Gold for last 14 years. She believes that there is no end to learning and this motivates her to attend various National and International Conferences, Workshops and Faculty Development Programs.

    Dr Sharda Vashisth
    HOD (EECE)
    Dr. Sharda Vashisth is heading the Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. Her area of Expertise is Biomedical Electronics, Signal Processing and Navigation systems. An outstanding teacher, Dr. Sharda Vashisth has consistently been recognized by The NorthCap University, year after year: ‘Best Teacher’ award (2011-12), ‘Star Performer’ (2013- 14),’Best Teacher award ( 2014-15), Best Teacher award (2015-16) and in September 2017 she was honoured with the ‘Best Teacher’ award for the academic year 2016-17. She is keenly interested in the field of Digital Electronics and Signal Processing. She has 24 years of teaching and 15 years of research experience. She is guiding 7 research scholars and has guided 30 M.Tech dissertations and several projects based on Signal Processing, Biomedical Electronics, Artificial Intelligence and Navigation systems. She has contributed significantly to the development of departmental laboratories at NCU. She has published around 45 research papers in international journals and conferences and has chaired sessions in various IEEE and springer conferences and has been the technical program committee member of various conferences. She is a professional member of IEEE, SPIE and ISTE.
