Dr Sancheti began his professional career at MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur, as Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE in 1984 and later moved to Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur (now MNIT) as Associate Professor in 1990.

Upon completion of his PhD. in Computer Science from the University of Florida, Dr Shasi returned to India and took charge at Kalasalingam University in September 2015. After taking charge as Vice President of Kalasalingam University, he has several credits to his portfolio including spearheading the team to achieve the highest grade in NAAC in October 2015, launching the Agricultural programs in 2016, initiating the school concept of management within the university in 2017, University got NBA Accredited in 2018, and 17 ABET Expert Committee Members from American Universities had visited Kalasalingam University for evaluation on Nov’19 & waiting for the results. With an ardent interest in academics and from his experience at various universities in Singapore and the USA. Dr Shasi has revolutionised the teaching-learning process by introducing new pedagogical initiatives and restructuring the curriculum and syllabi of all the courses, to be in line with the developments of the modern world.
