About this Webinar
The college application process can feel overwhelming, but getting started early can make all the difference. If you’re a high school sophomore or junior (or even a freshman!), now is the perfect time to take charge of your college journey and lay the foundation for a smooth, successful admissions season.
In this webinar, College Admissions Expert Katie Chiou will walk you through what matters most at this stage of high school - from choosing the right classes and building a balanced extracurricular profile to exploring potential majors and creating a realistic testing and application timeline. You’ll learn how to identify your academic strengths, find opportunities for leadership and impact, and start narrowing down the types of colleges that fit your goals and interests.
We’ll also cover how to make the most of your summers, what to do if you’re feeling behind, and how to approach college planning with less stress and more strategy. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a clear action plan tailored to where you are now and the confidence to move forward with purpose.
Whether you’re just beginning to think about college or already have a few dream schools in mind, this webinar will help you understand what admissions officers are really looking for and how to stay on track every step of the way.
