Louise Trewern
Senior Lived Experience Trainer
Louise has lived with pain since childhood, diagnosed as Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis.
She was prescribed strong opioid medication a 13 year period, along with drugs like antidepressants and benzodiazepines. She came off her opioids with support of local pain service seven years ago, learned to self-manage her pain in other ways and that this process literally ‘saved her life.
