Matt has spent the last 16 years in private healthcare management, consulting and medical billing. In addition to his work with CPS Matt is also Vice President of the boutique medical billing firm, VGA Billing Services, Inc. He has contributed blogs, editorials and professional opinion in the industry resources; PhysiciansPractice.com, BC Advantage Magazine, MedPageToday.com and the AAPC's Business Healthcare Monthly. Matt also developed a CME/CEU activity on the Business of Healthcare through a joint sponsorship with the New York State Medical Society.
AWS Senior Business Development Manager
With 24+ years of experience in software architecture, project management, development and software quality, Matthew is currently a part of the AWS Serverless Business Development team where he leads Serverless Partner strategy. Prior to joining AWS, Matthew worked at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise as a trusted advisor to HPE’s enterprise clients and field teams as the Americas AppDev Practice Manager, and was also HPE’s Product Marketing Manager for their Application Lifecycle Management solution, Quality Center. Matthew has also worked at Borland Software as an Agile Evangelist, and at IBM/Rational as a solution architect and consultant, working with telecommunications, media and government clients. Matthew is also an avid hockey player in his off-time, playing as a defenseman for a local rec-league team.
