WEBINAR ENDED
Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) is Kenya’s premier national science and innovation platform for secondary school students. Since 2017, YSK has sent teams of mentors to schools right across Kenya to engage young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to promote innovation, support students to realise their potential and contribute to Kenya’s development. YSKs three program pillars of Outreach Mentorship, Exhibition, and Bootcamp.

This year’s Bootcamp participants are winners from YSK’s first ever virtual National Science and Technology Exhibition in December of 2020, a digital pivot accelerated by the COVID-19 imposed challenges. The Exhibition had 64 STEM projects submitted by 120 students from more than 22 counties and was officially opened by the YSK Patron, His Excellency President Kenyatta. 32 student winners will participate in the Bootcamp.
