Natalie Jovanic (They/Them) is a non-binary Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and Shiatsu Therapist. They offer trauma-informed services that integrate EMDR which is recognized as the leading trauma-resolution method as well as anti-oppressive/anti-racist practice. They work with clients who have experienced trauma or violence, who have addictive behaviours, or who are in toxic relationships. They are passionate about supporting their client to experience more joy and fulfillment in their lives.
Natalie has experience with suicide prevention from a personal and professional perspective. They volunteered at the crisis line in the Distress Centre and facilitated a community development project to reduce the stigma associated with suicide. They have a certificate in LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
They are also the host of the podcast Smart Relationship Moves and the author of Brave, A True Story.
