    Jani Loots
    Senior Director, Sustainability and Technical Programs - BOMA Canada
    Passionate about sustainable building solutions, Jani also believes that fostering creative interaction between team members is essential to organizational success. Originally from South Africa, Jani’s architectural designation buttresses her research in sustainable building design. Over the last fifteen years at a major consulting engineering firm, Jani has worked on a variety of existing building energy and sustainability projects, including helping clients achieve BOMA BEST and other building sustainability certifications, which makes sense, since Jani played a direct role in shaping BOMA BEST 4.0. More recently, Jani has shifted her focus toward climate change mitigation and decarbonization strategies. In her role as Senior Director, Sustainability and Technical Programs, Jani is excited to lead and continue the development of the BOMA BEST program and advance BOMA Canada’s thought leadership.
