Jennifer Belissent
Principal Data Strategist, Snowflake
In her role as Principal Data Strategist at Snowflake, Jennifer encourages data collaboration, proper data governance, effective communication, and delivering value from data in the growing data economy. Jennifer advises companies on how to embrace data product thinking and effectively build and deliver data products. Prior to joining Snowflake in 2021, for over a decade as an analyst at Forrester Research, Jennifer guided organizations in their efforts to become data driven. She is a frequent keynote speaker, panel moderator, facilitator of effective executive roundtables and workshops, and contributor to Snowflake thought leadership through her blog and other published articles.
Throughout her 30 year career, Jennifer has also held management positions in sales and marketing in the Silicon Valley; designed urban policy programs in Eastern Europe and Russia; and taught math as a Peace Corps volunteer in Central Africa. Jennifer earned a Ph.D. and an M.A. in organizational theory and comparative politics from Stanford University and a B.A. in econometrics from the University of Virginia. She is an alpine enthusiast living in the French Alps, and an intrepid world traveler.
